The A.E.D.C. is the chiropractic doctoral students association at UQTR. It is a committee formed by students in the program who are elected during a general assembly.

The main functions of the association are to:

  • Bring students in the department of chiropractic together under a single association to collectively defend their rights and interests;
  • Defend the rights and interests of all chiropractic students at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières;
  • Represent chiropractic students for themselves, the university, other associations, the AGEuqtr, the general public, the Ordre des chiropraticiens du Québec, the Association des chiropraticiens du Québec, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Fondation Chiropratique du Québec and other chiropractic schools;
  • Promote a favourable quality of life at the university to foster dynamism within the chiropractic program;
  • Provide technical support (human resources and financial assistance research) for projects submitted;
  • Encourage all initiatives that lead to academic promotion (expositions, symposiums, events, research, etc.).
